HAPPY FRIDAY

Hellooo & Happy Friday

I thought I would show you guys a look that I tend to wear to sixth form, it’s not as casual but very wearable for smarter situations like; sixth form, office jobs, going out to dinner, interviews etc. I think the outfit is perfect because it combines looking classy and smart as its covered up, but the cut of the skirt paired with the body suit makes It very flattering and feminine.

Im wearing this figure hugging faux leather skirt from Pretty Little Thing that has embroidered roses on the top and bottom. I love the flowers on the skirt as they give me spring vibes, which Im defiantly looking forward to. I decided to wear this black mock-neck body suit from Topshop (Similar) as my top, I prefer wearing body suits with tight skirts so it doesn’t cause that awkward length around my waist or that bunching from trying to tuck the top in. I've simpily paired tights and my classic Black booties to complete the look. As for my outerwear, this is one of my staple smart coats as I find that it goes with many outfits and for this, matches well with the embroiry green on the skirt. Its a green, cotton pea coat from ASOS that I did get a while ago so may not be able to get the same. (Similar)

Johnny Rockets

Hellooo & a warm welcome back!

This post is coming to you from the lovely city of Dubai. Which explains the lack of clothing, as I don’t need to constantly be wrapping up from the awful weather in the UK. I’m out here having an amazing holiday and I thought I would show you a look that I just fell in love with and think is very cute for an everyday wear. Obviously I am dressed for the warmer weather but you can just throw a jumper or coat over the top to get the same look, I would suggest sticking with light pink or red. Again, I seem to be inspired by 80s style as the vintage mum jeans and retro dinner just say it all. This look is super simple but can make a statement with the eye catching colours.

My cropped red tank top is from brandy Melville, although it looks very basic it has a lovely cut and is very flattering to the to the body but in my opinion any cropped red tank top would do! My jeans are the obvious statement piece to the look and I fell in love as soon as I saw them, they are renewed levis mum jeans with a baby pink and red stripe down the side. Many say that pink and red should never be worn together as they clash but I think it looks great and actually think they complement each other so honestly you do you. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to find the exact ones as I bought theses’ in a vintage shop in Bristol but hopefully these are Similar or you might have to get thrifting! lastly we have the shoes, these are just simple Stan Smiths from Adidas, mine have a blue and red floral pattern at the back that tie the outfit really well together but any white or even baby pink trainer/ sneaker will do. The shoe give the outfit an athletic vibe that matches with the stripe on the trouser but also just makes it very wearable for day to day.
